THE BEGINNING
Hi, my name is Tania and I am the owner of Hooked On Learning. Hooked On Learning is located in Mudgee, NSW. I am blessed with three gorgeous boys who keep me busy and a supportive husband who I am grateful for. I have been in the early childhood education industry for more than 15 years and currently work from home for College with students studying their Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood as a Trainer and Assessor. This business supports my philosophy in children learning through play and Montessori learning is an approach I value when working with children. Having worked in Early Childhood for many years, I feel that parents and services often lack support in purchasing quality resources to share with children to influence quality play opportunities.
Hooked on Learning stock a variety of Montessori (Inspired and Compatible) resources, Reggio Emilia and Waldorf (also known as Steiner) resources, emotional regulation resources and expanding on a baby range for early learning.
AIM/OBJECTIVE
Hooked on Learning will ensure that we source and sell resources which are affordable, open ended in nature (meaning can be used in multiple ways), educational and most importantly used by children for months and years with purpose for learning.
VISION/MISSION
Our plan is to continue a blog and newsletter to share my knowledge and skills with inspiration for play with people all around the world and I hope to open a store for people far and near to visit and purchase from the store.
